
While it’s cluttered in some places, the minimalist design of the main window lets you explore all the features with ease. You'll have to hunt down the setting.In case you’ve already used KMPlayer, the interface will feel familiar. It does have an option to resume playback where you left off, but it's not enabled by default. I find navigating through the media (forward, back, skipping to chapters, etc.) much more convenient than in VLC.

I've compiled a small list of free software that most people don't know about, but have really helped me over the years. It has other features such as remembering where you left off if you close and re-open the player. It can increase/decrease playback speed from 0.2x to 12x in 0.1 increments. Or if you use chrome, use this extension, so it's easier for you to right-click, then open the m3u link on PotPlayer, so it's updated to their system/database.
